With today’s busy life, parents need to get some help and be able to rely on trustworthy people when they need to have their “big” children babysit. It used to be the grand-parents who were taking care of the children when parents were away, but nowadays many have to find other solutions than always and constantly rely on Grandma! Our goal is to give you peace of mind, convenience and flexibility when you need to babysit your children while making them feel good and happy during your absence.

At Maison Kinder Montreal, we offer child care services in a safe, warm and caring environment where children feel secure, love and appreciated. Whether your children need to come for a few hours, an evening, a weekend, or for a week, our comfortable house environment makes being away from family less constraining, and learning more effective and fun.

The 6 to 12 years old are called “the growing children” and as they enter into school-age, their abilities and understanding of concepts and the world around them continue to grow, and it is important to cease every opportunity to teach them a variety of valuable notion. We always like to offer your children the chance to take advantage of their stay with us to learn some short but useful and valuable notions of math, languages and children’s etiquette. These courses have been expressly designed for them and they can benefit from them every time they stay at our childcare center. You can be reassured that your children will get all the same services as our children from 1 to 5 years old but adapted to their age and level. And we can also help your children do their homework.

Moreover, starting in fall 2016, we will offer a “Flexible Shuttle Service” for those who need to go to school and to their weekend activities. * So your children will have the least possible disruption during your absence. They will be able to maintain their school activities and hobbies just as if you were at home!

• Laptop with parental-control software that gives your kids access to Windows applications and the Internet, but subject to parent- imposed limitations.

• Two snacks a day.
• Daily fun activities.
• French and English courses.
• Children’s etiquette course.
• Math course.
• Yoga and dance courses.
• School homework assistance in French and English.
• “Flexible Shuttle Service” for school and activities.*

* Transportation service offer on the Montreal Island, South Shore and North Shore. The driver will either be an experimented woman or man. Male drivers will always be accompanied by a female employee. As our policy says it, your children will never be left alone with a man since you demanded it!

The “Flexible Shuttle Service” fees are as follow:

Montreal Island: $75
South shore: $85
North Shore: $85

Fee includes back and forth transportation to the same location. Therefore members of a same family or friends who need to go to the same location will not pay any extra fee.
